Plus Size Outfit Day: It's christmas time

Um gleich mal mit der Tür ins Haus zu fallen, dies wird mein letzter POD sein. Ich will gar nicht weiter ins Detail gehen, sondern nur sagen, dass es Dinge gab, die mich gestört haben und ich mich ein bisschen eingespannt gefühlt habe. Da mir meine Authentizität und Integrität wichtig sind und mir die ganze Sache den Spaß etwas verdorben hat (und für mich war der POD nicht mehr oder weniger als der reine Spaß an Mode, Outfits und der Herausforderung etwas zu einem Thema zu finden), habe ich beschlossen auszusteigen.
Das Konzept an sich finde ich nach wie vor großartig, ich hatte mir schon bei Five Take oder den Aussie Curves gewünscht auch mal an so etwas teilzunehmen, vielleicht hätte ich damals selbst so etwas starten sollen. Vielleicht sollte ich es jetzt tun. Nur Spaß und Mode und sonst nichts. :)

This will be my last POD. I don't want to give any details, but let's just say there were things that I didn't like and I felt like I was supposed to be a cheeleader for something I wouldnt agree with. My integrity and authenticity are important to me and it's not much fun if you really disagree with something that's supposed to be fun (and I attended only because of the fun, the fashion and the challenge).
I still love the concept. I always wanted to attend to a challenge like that ever since I heard of Five Take or Aussie Curves. Maybe I should have started my own thing then. Maybe I should do it now. Just fun and fashion and nothing else. :)

Ich hätte wahnsinnig gerne Fotos im weihnachtlichen Disneyland gemacht, aber meine Outfits waren ja nicht sehr festlich. Das Kleid sollte übrigens schon letzten Monat zum Einsatz kommen, aber zu Weihnachten funktioniert es auch. Ist total bequem und kuschelig für's Familientreffen und wenn es zu kalt wird, kann man einfach eine Strickjacke überziehen.

I'd love to take the pics in festive Disneyland, but of course I never run around there in a fancy dress. The dress was supposed to be last months POD outfit, though it work for Christmas too. It's totally comfy for a family gathering and you can add a cardigan when you get cold.

Plus Size Outfit Day - Saturday Night

Das Thema diesen Monat ist "Get ready for saturday night".
Ursprünglich wollte ich ein Outfit nehmen, dass ich vorgestern anziehen wollte. Wenn denn das Klezmer-Konzert nicht ausverkauft gewesen wäre. Dumm gelaufen.  So konnte ich mich wenigstens austoben, in einer Kirche würde ich das nämlich nicht unbedingt anziehen. ;)
Ursprünglich wollte ich ein anderes Kleid tragen, aber ich hatte wenig Lust meinen gestern frisch tätowierten Arm in Folie einzuwickeln um nicht am Kleid festzukleben, also habe ich spontan  ein anderes Outfit zusammengestellt. Das ursprügliche gibt es dann nächsten Monat.
Es gibt auch keine Fotos der Vorbereitungen, weil die reichlich unspektakulär sind und ich ehrlich gesagt auch nicht daran gedacht habe. Bei mir gibt es selten Make-up und Beautyorgien. ;)

This months theme is "Get ready for saturday night". I planned to show you an outfit I wanted to wear to a Klezmer concert the day before yesterday, but it was sold out. At least I could go all out with my outfit, the concert would have been in a church and that's not an outfit I'd like to wear in a church. ;)
Initially I chose a different dress, but it has sleeves and I was to lazy to wrap clinfgilm around my arm, to prevent my new tattoo (got it yesterday)  from sticking to the sleeve, so I chose another (impromptu) outfit. But I will wear that other dress next month.
There are no photos of me getting ready though, because there is not much preparation (I never wear fancy make-up because I'm too lazy and not talented enough) and I honestly forgot about that part.

Da es auf dem Balkon zu kalt ist, musste ich die Fotos in meinem Zimmer machen, wo das Licht nicht so toll ist und demnach die Bilder auch nicht. :/ Ich weiß auch nicht, warum die Bilder beim Hochladen immer noch so an Qualität verlieren.

 It's too cold on the balcony for taking pictures, so I had to take them in my room where the light is really not great, like my pictures. :/ And I don't know why the pictures look even worse when I upload them here.

Plus Size Outfit Day - Burgundy

Und da ist er auch schon, der zweite (bzw. dritte) POD. Das Thema hat mich einige Nerven gekostet, da ich in meinem Schrank nicht ein einziges Teil in Burgunder habe. Glücklicherweise hat eine Freundin gerade ein paar ihrer nicht getragenen We love Colors Strumpfhosen verkauft und eine hatte die passenden Farbe. Ringel sind zwar nicht ganz das was ich mir für dieses Outfit vorgestellt habe, aber ich hab versucht das Beste draus zu machen. Ich war die ganze Woche krank und bin immer noch nicht ganz fit, ich hoffe man sieht es mir nicht allzu sehr an. ;)

Here it is, the second (actually third) POD. The topic gave me a hard time, because there is not one thing in burgundy in my wardrobe. Fortunately a good friend of mine sold some of her never worn We love Colors tights and one had the right colour. I'm not too happy with the stripes on it (I like striped tights, but not for this outfit), but I think I made it work. I've been sick all week and still feel not too well, I hope I look better than I feel. ;)

Die Schuhe fand ich so toll, dass ich sie einfach haben musste, auch wenn ich die Dame wirklich ganz grauenhaft finde...

Den Mangel an Burgunder habe ich versucht mit etwas Lippenstift auszugleichen. 

I loved the shoes so much that I had to buy them, though I really don't like Daniela Katzenberger. She is somewhat famous in Germany while doing nothing but acting like a naive blonde girl. She actually wrote a book about acting stupid so everyone else helps you and you don't have to do anything you don't want to.

I added some lipstick to compensate the lack of burgundy.

Plus Size Outfit Day - Black & White

Ihr kennt den POD noch nicht? Dann habt ihr was verpasst! Das ist eine Aktion geplant und initiiert von Miss Bartoz und Melanie von Rubenesque.

Für mich war direkt das erste Thema ein bisschen schwierig, weil ich zwar jede Menge schwarze Sachen im Schrank hängen habe, aber kaum etwas in weiß.  Am Ende wurde es dann ein eher schlichtes Outfit, das mir aber ganz gut gefällt. ^^

The first POD and I already had a bit of a hard time picking something. I have a lot of black in my wardrobe but almost no white. But now I'm pretty pleased, though it's a pretty simple outfit.

 I love my nose in this picture. Usually my nose and I are not the best friends...

 Windy! And I really need to bleach/dye my hair again.

Posing is a quite serious business.
